Business Technology Veteran Mr. Pillons Brings Extensive Government and Enterprise Experience
Prognoz, a global provider of business analytics solutions, today announced that Sylvain Pillons was appointed managing director, Europe for Prognoz. In this newly created position, Mr. Pillons is responsible for helping Prognoz expand its European marketing, sales, customer service, as well as lead the technical support team. He is based in Prognoz’ Brussels office.

Mr. Pillons career includes more than 20 years of international experience in the technology sector. His areas of expertise include P&L, business unit management, business intelligence, business strategy, sales management and business development.
Previously, Mr. Pillons invested in a start-up specializing in internet security, and structured the business and the company. Before this position, he was the business director international and deputy CEO for the French subsidiary of SAIT Zenitel SA. Prior to SAIT Zenitel, Pillons was the vice president of sales for PCB Europe for Orbotech. Pillons also worked for Siemens for four years as the vice president for Western and Central Africa for all Siemens divisions. From 2004-2012, Pillons was a board member and administrator of the Belgian-African Chamber of Commerce. He graduated from the Brussels Business School EPHEC with a degree in marketing and a degree in finance.
