Auto Europe is offering two products to help travelers simplify their car rental insurance and provide a worry free experience.
Most car rental insurances have a deductible, also known as an excess amount. This excess amount can range from a hundred dollars to a few thousand depending upon the rental country, insurance provider and the type of vehicle that is rented. The insurance coverage itself applies to most damages, accidents or theft of the vehicle. When applicable, the deductible or excess amount is charged to the driver’s credit card.
To avoid paying a deductible, Auto Europe is now offering a Zero Excess Plan and an Excess Refund Plan.
The Zero Excess Plan helps you avoid having any deductible to pay. In case of an accident, damage or theft, no deductible will be charged according to the insurance policy.
What sets Auto Europe apart from the other car rental providers is the Excess Refund Plan. In the event of most damages or accidents, the car rental company will charge the drivers credit card for the amount of the damages, up to the deductible amount. After the rental, the driver can file for a refund of the amount charged.
With some basic paperwork, your car rental agreement, any necessary police reports or damage estimates and bills due, Auto Europe will refund the deductible that you paid.
