Evangelical Missions Organization Launches Seven New Videos to Recruit More People, Prayer and Funds for Church-planting Missions in Russia
Detroit, MI (PRWEB) January 13, 2014
In the orthodox Christian world, Christmas comes on January 7. To help celebrate the holiday, SEND International launched its latest video series.
Reaching Russia Together is a collection of seven short videos, each exploring different aspects of SEND’s church-planting ministry there. The title video provides an overview of the entire series, introducing the three main missionary teams in different parts of the country. Two videos share the testimonies of people whose lives have been changed by the gospel. Another video profiles Russian orphans and offers hope for how their lives can be changed. “Transformation Christian Center” highlights the center’s decade of life-changing ministry in western Russia. And the final two videos offer fun and unique images of missionary work abroad, from archery to throat singing.
The videos are available two ways: online viewing and DVD. To view the videos online or order the whole series on DVD, visit http://www.send.org/reaching-russia-together.
SEND Russia is also working to re-brand and fuel more interest in Russian ministries. The missionaries emphasize that there are 179 distinct ethnic groups living in Russia, 90 of which are unreached people with no access to a church or the gospel. SEND Russia’s mission is empowering churches in Russia to reach beyond their borders in order to establish reproducing churches.
SENDmedia has produced several other video series about its church-planting work around the world, including I Heart Muslims, UnFinished: Reaching Europe, Alaska: Life in Your Face, MOVE: China to the Edge, Vision 119, and Japan: Unshakable Hope. The videos highlight SEND’s international missions work in Europe, Alaska and the Yukon, China, Taiwan, Japan and in Muslim ministries. You can find out more about these series by visiting SEND’s website, http://www.send.org.
SEND International is an interdenominational faith mission agency with approximately 600 missionaries in more than 20 areas of Asia, Eurasia, Europe and North America. SEND’s mission is to mobilize God’s people and engage the unreached in order to establish reproducing churches. SEND members are multinational and are recruited and sent from sending offices and partner agencies around the world. For more information on SEND’s mission and ministries, visit http://www.send.org.
